AESA Delegation Visit Beijing 101 High School in China
When education leaders connect across the world, great things follow. ESU 3 CEO Dr. Dan Schnoes recently joined the AESA delegation for a visit to Beijing 101 High School in China, and the experience did not disappoint. From classroom observations to meaningful conversations with students and educators, the trip offered a firsthand look at what innovation and collaboration look like on a global scale. Global connections, local impact. Proud to be part of a network that keeps learning without borders.

AESA Annual Conference
The ESU 3 Board and CEO Dr. Dan Schnoes attended the 2025 Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA) Annual Conference this week—connecting with Educational Service Agency leaders, learning from national experts, and exploring fresh approaches to student and district support. Each conversation and session reinforced our shared mission: serving our schools and communities with excellence. We’re excited to bring this knowledge home to empower educators across our region.

Advocacy in Action Conference
Last week, AESA members from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Advocacy in Action Conference. Along with visits to the hill, one key highlight was the opportunity for over 30 educators from ESAs across the country to meet with FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel to discuss the Universal Service Fund and E-Rate. Dr. Larianne Polk, CEO of the ESU Coordinating Council and Dr. Dan J. Schnoes, ESU#3 CEO, President-Elect of AESA, and NCSA Chair had the opportunity to share the important role that E-Rate plays for Nebraska ESUs and School Districts.
