Effective July 1, 2026 the Greater Metro Regional Program is no longer providing FREE audiological evaluations to districts.  Please confirm with your district's Special Education Director that your district wants to continue with this service at a per evaluation cost.

Use this link, Audiological Referrals 2026-27, to make a referral for an audiological evaluation beginning July 1, 2026.

Parents will be contacted by a scheduling secretary via email, preferred method, or phone. Residents of Millard or Omaha Public Schools need to contact their respective district to make an appointment.

Our Teacher of the Deaf (TOD) team provides comprehensive supports for deaf and hard of hearing students.

Greater Metro Region Program (GMRP)

Regional program for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to carry out activities from the state plan. Areas of focus include local and statewide student and family activities, professional learning for educators and families, as well as social-emotional and advocacy supports for groups of students.
