Students are offered a Driver Education course through Educational Service Unit #3. Students are required to complete 20 hours of classroom instruction and driving lessons leading to the successful passing of the DMV-approved road test. Driver Education includes (1) basic defensive driving, skills, and safety procedures, (2) study and application of rules and regulations that affect our driving. This course is graded and requires a learner permit before behind-the-wheel driving lessons are given. Driving arrangements are made with the instructor allowing flexibility in scheduling. All students must pass all written tests and the DMV-certified road test to obtain a waiver for a Provisional Operator Permit.
